Official Statement regarding a second Quarantine Backyard Ultra
We have received inquiries regarding whether or not we are involved in a new Quarantine Backyard Ultra on July 11, 2020. We felt it was important to make an official statement and clear up any confusion you may have. No, we are not affiliated with this race and we were surprised to learn of it.
This other Quarantine Backyard Ultra is not affiliated with the original event. The organizers’ choice to name their event the “Quarantine Backyard Ultra” has created a great deal of confusion, and for this we are sorry.
If you were a fan of our first event, and choose to join this separate race, please know that it will likely be a different race experience. However, we wish them the best in their endeavour, and should you choose to join, we wish you luck on your race!
