Make your own Suspension Trainer – Cheap and Easy!

A suspension trainer is one of the most versatile pieces of gym equipment, and better yet they are super compact and easy to travel with, however they can be pricey! Name brand models like TRX can cost over $200, and knock offs still range from $80 and $100!

In this post, we are going to show you how to make one yourself for less than $30, using a few commonly available products!

A suspension trainer can be used when suspended from an anchor like a pull up bar, squat rack, or a bolt on ceiling or wall anchor, but can also be used with a door anchor when you don’t have access to a gym, such as when you are traveling.

The process of building the TRX is simple, and just involves tying a series of knots in a single long piece of webbing. This daisy chain ends up serving double duty, both as an anchor, as well as the length adjustment.

The handles for this suspension trainer serve as handles, as well as foot loops, and both are adjustable to suit the type of exercise, and your personal preference.
