Anything you do repeatedly, or wish to improve at should be thought of as a system.
Before Henry Ford developed the first assembly line, cars were produced as single units. What Ford realized is that this was not only incredibly inefficient, but it was also impossible to tell where and if there were problems in the manufacturing process. Without a system, errors were random and nearly impossible to locate. Therefore, improvements in quality and design were most certainly slow to develop. The creation of a system for building cars however, made it possible for Ford to see patterns. Problems wouldn’t just happen once, they would happen repeatedly.
Isn’t this a problem? NO! This is the beauty of a system! Once you locate a problem, you can fix it, improve the system, and ensure you never have that particular problem ever again! With a system, you can solve problems once and forever. You stop running into walls, problems stop popping up at random, and you can start honing your craft, and making improvements at astonishing speed!
That’s why every program Personal Peak builds is a complete system. We never give you workouts, we build you a customized training system. A workout can be likened to cars built before Ford’s revolutionary assembly line. They work, but if there is a problem, it is difficult to locate the source, and it is highly likely you’ll continually run into problems. But if your training program is built as a system, you know that everything is working together to ensure you are achieving the best possible results, and when and if a problem arises, it is easy to locate. In this way, problems are easily fixed and the system adjusted so you can continue working towards your goal without interruption. Sure, this means there are fewer surprises, but if you’re training for a big goal, a surprise is the last thing you want.

All Personal Peak Training Systems include a periodized Endurance Curriculum that teaches you about your workouts, training blocks, and any other pieces of information you need to know along the way. You also get access to a biweely Live Athlete Seminar with your Physiologist, with more discussion of physiology, training topics, and a Q&A session.

With so much information available at the click of a button, it can be overwhelming trying to piece together exactly what you should be doing!
